This Week’s Snow Report: Fresh Tracks Await

⛷ Surface Conditions
All open trails are groomed top to bottom, delivering classic East Coast corduroy early. As the day goes on, expect a transition to scraped-off, pushed-around reality.
Firm and icy sections will coexist peacefully with softer snow — sometimes on the same trail, sometimes in the same turn.
Ungroomed areas remain closed and are best described as decorative. Ice, glaze, exposed surfaces, and surprises you didn’t sign up for.
Tonight (Fri Jan 16): Becoming cold with a mix of clouds and flurries possible. Light snow chances overnight. Temperatures around low-teens to single digits at base with colder wind chills.
Saturday (Jan 17): Snow likely with the best chance of accumulating snow showers. Moderate to heavier snow expected at times. Highs near around freezing (~30°F), lows in the teens to around 20°F.
Sunday (Jan 18): More snow showers possible, though somewhat less widespread than Saturday. Cooler temps with highs in the mid-20s°F and lows around 20°F.
Monday (Jan 19): Lingering light snow or flurries early; then clouds. Not as heavy as the weekend but still some snow potential. Cooler with highs in the low-20s°F and lows in the teens.
Due to weather, wind, and the general laws of physics, expect intermittent lift delays, brief stoppages all day, almost every lift stopped all morning and down, and lines that move just slowly enough for you to reconsider all your life choices. Please note that this is standard weekend operation and a personal attack from Fail resorts.
WEATHER & MOUNTAIN OPERATIONS
Ice is just “fast snow.” Edges don’t really matter—sliding builds character and confidence.
Rain followed by a freeze makes the mountain smoother and more predictable. Fog and flat light will be adding mystery and excitement.

APRÈS
Après will continue as usual with Bruce at 3:30 PM. We are expecting a a heavy crowd it is a double header and holiday weekend so pace yourself, don't pull a Hayden and throw up on yourself.
But be sure to be ready to go and get orders in quickly, as Cousins’ new staff is retarded. Holidays will slow them down more
